There is only one English dictionary...it is called The OED, it is the real English language. The Merriam Webster book has all the wrong spellings.
Thanks
I see... English is truly confusing sometimes but I now know why some pronounce bag as beg and bank as benk....with 'n' & 'm' the 'ae' sound is longer but for bag -- it's just the normal 'ae'...
Helpful

How are going to know if we are writing our term 4 exam, that what the author is talking about in the story 🤔🧐
It's not easy, but I always give my students this tip: What does the writer want you to know? Imagine that you have to explain the article to your grandmother. How can you explain it in an easy, simple way?

I would say "bored" instead of "exhausted" and "tired". I always thought that smile means bored.
In English, bored is quite different from tired. It refers to the feeling when something is just not interesting. It's the opposite of interested.
At the end... "You have to practice those *until you memorize* them". I wonder, can I say this instead with the same meaning, "You have to practice those until *you've memorized* them"?
Yes, you definitely can say that and it has the same meaning.
Thank you very much.
You are welcome!
You're amazing, thank you!

Your mannerism is very very american, only by waving your hands I will definitely know where you come from XD Good video as always, thank you very much!
lol, it's true! I tend to use more gestures than other people because of my work. A lot of my students have lower level listening skills in English, so I have to use a lot of gestures to help them understand me, and now it's just a bad habit. 😂
@@LearnAcademicEnglish it's actually a good habit, it looks very nice, very elegant in my opinion, I forgot to say that I like it a lot, please don't change your manners, that's what gives you Identity, style.
Thank you! ❤
Thanks for such an informative video
My pleasure!
